Preparations for the All-Russian Scientific Conference "The Seas of Russia: Fundamental and Applied Research" are continuing. More than 200 reports were submitted for participation in the conference.
The purpose of the conference is to analyze the current state of knowledge of natural processes and anthropogenic impact in the seas of Russia, to discuss the key areas of research and engineering that ensure the scientific and technological development of the Russian economy marine sector, technological and environmental safety of environmental management.
The conference will be organized in the form of plenary, sectional and poster reports in the following research areas:
Section 1. Fundamental research of the marine environment formation and evolution.
Section 2. Applied problems of assessment and prediction of marine systems state and the processes of their interaction with the atmosphere.
Section 3. Remote studies of processes and phenomena in the marine environment.
It is planned to hold a seminar of the Oceanology, Atmospheric Physics and Geography Section of the Earth Sciences Division of the Russian Academy of Sciences and celebrations dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the Marine Hydrophysical Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences during the conference.

| September 28, 2019 | Departure of conference participants. |
To participate in the conference, you must provide abstracts and a copy of the receipt of the registration fee payment to the email address of the organizing committee mhi-conference@mhi-ras.ru.
ORGANIZATIONAL FEE is 900 rubles. For young scientists (up to 35 years old) - 300 rubles.
Payment of the organization fee means that the participant obtains of a set of working materials, a hard copy of the conference materials collection, participation in coffee breaks and in a friendly dinner on the evening of the conference opening.
Payment of the registration fee is carried out via bank transfer at the specified details.
